A farmer's wife modelling in the midst of summer?
Today I received a mail from Rescued Film Project containing three black & white scans. The RFP "rescues" old/found undeveloped rolls of film for posterity. I've shipped them at least ten rolls that I've found in cameras that I've bought primarily in Sweden but also from European countries. The featured three are from three different rolls. The two first were probably made by Swedish photographers.
A Swedish language student in a French city, sometime in the 1960s? What's the name of the bistro? Le Vra...?
A Yugoslav family sometime in the 1950s?

Their site is interesting with some great galleries depending on your interests - I am in particular fond of the 'Paul' gallery, with pictures by this man chronicling his kids' life in and out of the house.

Digi Bewe Oh

I really like the look of the b&w pictures that I get out of the Samsung NV7 digital camera. I only use it for black & white photography since the colour pictures are very bleak. At least when compared to the ones that I get with my Fujifilm cameras. And the grains really evoke the impression of black & white film. A friend of mine documents solitary bees making homes behind this plexi glass screen. No digital tweaking was made apart from the flying bee picture. These pictures are straight out of the camera.
